Lara was reading the news about a prisoner who was sentenced to death, coincidentally Kina who was beside him also saw the news.

Kina : What is your opinion about that?

Lara : I totally disagree with the death penalty, because the death penalty is almost certain to torture the defendant, because there is no instant death, and I think that's inhuman.

Kina : in my opinion the death penalty must exist to have a deterrent effect so that other people will not do the same.

Lara : The death penalty is a form of violation of a person's human rights.

Kina : yes, it violates human rights. Then what about serial killers, people who circulate narcotics, and people who do corruption? They make many people suffer losses and do not think about other human rights.

Lara : for the death penalty for a murderer, if the perpetrator dies, what will the victim's family get? Is the death penalty an attempt to return to the old term "revenge, life for life"? If the victim dies and the perpetrator dies, what will the community get? Wouldn't it be better if the perpetrator was given a social work sentence, where he could be empowered to become a source of free labor for jobs whose results can be used by many people?

Kina : we have to stop this conversation or we will end up fighting .lol

Lara : yes I agree with you. we will always have different opinions but that should not make us fight.
